Half day trips are the most popular adventure for families, new anglers, and travelers on business who can only get away for part of the day. A Half-Day guided fly fishing trip on one of the area’s fisheries focuses on several objectives:
We offer a number of options for Half-Day trips, both walk-in, and boat-in. All Half-Day trips are at least 4 hours of fishing time, beginning either in the morning or afternoon. Your guide will meet you at Confluence Fly Shop in Bend, or some other designated location. From there, you’ll carpool or caravan with your guide to the selected fishery. Once on the water, you’ll spend the next 4 hours learning and catching, with the occasional break to look around and soak in the natural beauty surrounding you. Start times for Half Day trips vary depending on the time of the year. We typically choose a start time to offer the best fishing, though we are flexible and can adjust to meet other activities you have planned on the day of your trip.
Half-Day Walk-In trips: This is an adventure perfectly suited for the Fall River, the Crooked River, or the Upper Deschutes River. All are less than an hour from Bend, offer fairly easy access, and are wonderful Half-Day opportunities.
Call today for up-to-date reports on these rivers and let’s get out there!
Price: 1 or 2 anglers: $325. Additional anglers: $50/person. Maximum of 4 per guide.
Half-Day Boat trips: During a boat trip, you’ll travel with your guide to one of the area’s rivers or Lakes. Half-day boat trips are generally on the water where fishing from the boat is optimal or allowed.
Price: 1 or 2 anglers: $400. Maximum of 2 anglers/guide.
